This policy explains how Dwellmark collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Dwellmark website, mobile application, and related residency-documentation services.

Information we handle

Account and household information

We handle identifiers and profile details needed to operate an account, maintain household membership, and enforce owner, household-member, and advisor permissions.

Location and day records

When you grant location permission, Dwellmark may collect precise or approximate location, timestamps, accuracy, and related device signals to create private day-level residency records. Background capture is optional and can be disabled in device settings.

Evidence and residency records

Dwellmark may store photos, documents, metadata, manual corrections, domicile ties, advisor requests, comments, packet files, and audit history that you or a permitted collaborator add.

Operational and support information

We may process security events, request diagnostics, device or app-version information, and communications you send to support so we can protect and operate the service.

How we use information

• Build and synchronize your residency day ledger and supporting evidence index.
• Surface weak records, documentation prompts, and packet-readiness workflows.
• Provide access to household members or advisors only at the permission level granted.
• Protect accounts, investigate errors, maintain audit history, and support data-control requests.
• Meet legal obligations and enforce Dwellmark's security and acceptable-use boundaries.

Dwellmark does not sell personal information or use it for cross-app targeted advertising.

Location and advisor privacy

Exact coordinates are treated as sensitive. Advisor views and exports use day-level jurisdiction summaries by default. More detailed information is shared only through an explicit, permissioned workflow.

Service providers and disclosure

Dwellmark uses service providers for hosting, authentication, encrypted storage, application delivery, and operational support. They may process information only to provide those services and are expected to protect it. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or security, or as directed by the account owner.

Security and retention

Dwellmark uses access controls, private storage, encryption in transit, sensitive-field protection, and audit logging. No security measure eliminates every risk. Records are retained according to configured retention periods, account instructions, legal obligations, and the need to preserve authorized audit history.

Your choices

• Disable foreground or background location permission in device settings.
• Remove advisor access from Dwellmark privacy controls.
• Disconnect a mobile session from the device.
• Request access, correction, export, or deletion review for account data.

Some records may need to be retained for security, audit integrity, contractual, or legal reasons. We will explain any applicable restriction when responding to a request.

Children and changes

Dwellmark is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the product, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
